For the most part, travel agents have access to the same travel deals one finds on the internet, and also offer travel perks you won't generally find or get on your own.

More importantly, you get the benefit of our firsthand expertise, our personal connections worldwide, our personalized service, and the security of dealing with a human being who will help be your advocate if something goes wrong, and is accessible directly before, during your travels, and after you return home.

Here are some examples of the types of issues you can avoid working with a travel agent:
-- How many hours will you spend on hold with an airline if your flight is canceled due to weather problems?
-- Did you expect your beach vacation hotel overlooked the parking lot when you booked that great hotel deal online?
-- How come there were no cab drivers at the airport at 2AM when you finally landed, and the hotel deal you booked online is a 30-minute drive away? (Maybe you should have booked a transfer.)

Your vacation is the personal responsibility of one of our professional travel experts from start to finish. Your paperwork isn’t passed on to a paper-mill or a far-off country – it’s handled by the same individual who assisted you, or by a member of their team, so your best interests are looked after properly.

If for any reason you’re not satisfied with your personal travel planner, you are welcome to request a change. Our management is also available should you need to speak to them regarding a problem with your reservation or vacation.

For most people that’s rarely the lowest priced trip, just like the lowest priced car isn’t usually the vehicle that best meets your needs. You never want a cheap vacation to be an expensive mistake. If you have a price for the vacation you want that’s less than our quote, please tell us! Maybe there are differences you or we missed, and perhaps we can better that price, or maybe we're not comparing apples to apples. In some cases, just booking a different flight could save you money. We’ll always make the effort to explain any price differences and, if we can do better, we both win!

We work with travel companies around the world that are the best at what they do, and which, from our experience, deliver the best value to our customers. Our decisions are always best on providing you best experiences based on your requirements.

We know our extensive list of worldwide preferred suppliers ensures you terrific vacation values, and should something go wrong, they’ll jump when we ask them to. If we sell you something we recommended that doesn’t provide the experience you’re looking for, we lose credibility with you. This is a far greater loss to us than any short-term financial gain. Our travel experts are full-time professionals passionate about travel. Many have achieved the highest professional accreditation, as Certified Travel Counselors (CTC’s), or Master or Accredited Cruise Counselors (MCC’s, ACC’s). A few have been recognized as top in their class by Travel + Leisure and Conde Nast Traveler. At TravelStore we rate our consultants as: Master Travel Planners, the crème de la crème of our industry who have been in the business over ten years, and serve a discerning and sophisiticated clientele who demand quality vacations; Travel Planners, in business at least five years, and expert in handling most travel products such as cruises, packages and tours; and Associate Travel Planners, who are usually newer in the business, and work in tandem with a more experienced agent.

Typically for most tours and cruises, we do not charge professional consulting fees.

Many travelers require customized or specialized travel arrangements. For customized travel we have a non-refundable planning fee, which covers our time and expertise in helping plan and research your arrangements. Should a planning fee be required, we are confident you’ll get back more than the fee amount in the value of our expertise and personal service we provide you. The travel expert you work with can advise you accordingly.
