I come from a long line of New England travelers. The first showed up at Plymouth Rock in 1620 on a “cruise” ship called the Mayflower. My family has been here every since –I lost count of how many generations. The most recent arrivals sailed in from Northern Ireland in 1732 and built the first brick house in Maine. We know New England. We ARE New England! So when you are planning your next trip to the Northeastern reaches of the United States, think about me, the Real McCoy.

I can help you plan anything from New York to Eastport (the most easterly town in the USA) and beyond. Let’s not forget our Canadian neighbors: Quebec, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia. Whether it is a cruise to see our spectacular fall foliage, or a drive up the coast to Acadia National Park near Bar Harbor, I can be there for you. Or how about walking Boston’s Freedom Trail? Here is where it all began, the actual buildings and bars where our Founding Fathers met to determine our course of independence from the British. It’ll send tingles up the spine of every history buff.

If you love food, you’ve come to the right place. We have wonderful restaurants with award-winning chefs up and down the coast. Major publications consider several of our cities as the new “foodie” capitals. It is more than just lobster these days. Come up and see for yourselves.

New York? Not part of New England you say? Well, this New England girl broke with tradition and lived for several years in the fabulous Big Apple. It is one of the BEST! I can help you get around, see the sites, see the shows and offer lots of practical advice on touring the “City That Never Sleeps.”

I would love to plan your trip to this incredible region. So call me. Contrary to what my New England neighbors may say, you can “get hee-yah from they-yuh.” (Translation: You can get here from there.). I’ll make it happen.

I am a third generation Californian; a proud son of the left coast. When not heading off to Asia, I enjoy exploring the nooks and crannies of the West Coast. There is more to this part of the country than Fisherman's Wharf and Disneyland! The Oregon Coast, the California Gold Country, the Mojave Desert... Did you know that California has eight National Parks? My personal experience includes extensive travel in California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona and Nevada. My favorites include the California Redwoods, San Diego, and hiking Angel Island in San Francisco Bay.

There are so many things to do in this part of the country! You may have noticed the bias towards the National Parks? While I enjoy a good walk in the woods, I am not a fanatical hiker, and you do not need to be to see some incredible scenery. I am also a baseball fanatic! The west is home to seven major league teams and some of the best stadiums in baseball. But if you really want to enjoy baseball in the old-fashioned way, may I suggest a minor league game? For a fraction of the cost of a major league experience, you can sit right behind home plate and hear the chatter between the players.

Food. I love good food! Seattle has some of the most amazing seafood in the world. The further south you go, the better the Mexican food gets. Of course there is the Napa Valley, but did you know Oregon makes some very good wine? And there are old growth vineyards in Sierra Foothills that have been producing for over 100 years.

I am also a museum junkie! But think beyond the obvious; the Getty is great and San Francisco is Museum Paradise. If you make it to Tucson, do not miss the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum. So much to do much to see, so much to eat! If you need help planning your West Coast adventure, please contact me!

I have been fortunate to explore the United States many times on driving vacations with my family in the past. I have learned more about the history and cultures and food from all over the United States than I could have ever read about in textbooks. Having visited all 50 states and all 10 Canadian Provinces by the time I turned 18, I was totally immersed in the various cultures and lifestyles of the North American continent and have carried those experiences over in to my adult life as a USA destination expert and travel planner.

I have made several trips to the Southwest, including extensive travel to New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona and Utah and have organized group travel to wonderful destinations in California such as Monterey, Sonoma/Napa, San Francisco, Palm Springs and San Diego. I have also arranged weekend gambling getaways to Laughlin and Las Vegas, as well as wine tasting excursions to many of the various wine regions of the West, such as Washington State, Oregon and Northern California. I have visited many wineries from coast to coast and would love the opportunity to plan your wine tasting and touring vacation.

The other great American past-time that I am passionate about, other than regional food and wine events, is baseball. I have made it my personal mission to visit every Major League baseball stadium in America, in particular the oldest parks in Chicago (Wrigley Field) and Boston (Fenway Park). I would also love the opportunity to plan your sports touring vacation and can also arrange ballpark visits and tickets to major sporting events.

Contact me and I will be happy to help you plan an amazing vacation throughout the USA.
